Those of you who have had Windows as the primary operating system for your computers might very well be aware of the Windows Live ID feature that comes pre-installed with its mother OS.
And as such, Windows Live Help explains Windows Live ID to be a single sign-on web service specially designed and developed by Microsoft with the sole aim of allowing its users to log into multiple websites and pages using just one account.
Now the same service is also commonly referred to as “MSN” owing to the fact that many of the services incorporating Windows Live ID are or were previously branded with the MSN brand.
And given that you own a Windows Live account, Windows Live Help suggests you avail yourself of its benefits that include an email account, the option to chat via Windows Live Messenger, in creating your own website, sharing images, documents and even meeting people who share your tastes or opinions in the comfort of your own computer.
Windows Live Help explains Windows Live Essentials
Now in order to take advantage of all these services, Windows Live Help suggests you proceed to downloading a free online tool simply known as “Windows Live Essentials” (or “Windows Live Installer”) for your version of Windows operating system and your machine.
Windows Live Help also adds that the “Windows Live Essentials” package includes the “Windows live Upload Tool” which is basically a free utility that can provide you with the right functions to upload and share any type of files such as photos, music, documents etc. with your near and close ones.
And this is, as Windows Live Help points out, through an online interface known as “SkyDive”.
Windows Live Help with Windows Live SkyDive
Windows Live SkyDive (or Windows Live Folders as it was initially known as) is a free of charge file hosting service that can allow us as users to upload files to the cloud storage so as to easily access the same from our web browser tool.
And as Windows Live Help suggests, it is a part of Microsoft’s Windows Live range of online services that makes use of your Windows Live ID in controlling all active access to files and other items.
(Windows Live Help explains that publicly shared files does not require a Windows Live ID to access).
Windows Live Help explains its operation
The operation itself is very simple as Windows Live Help suggests.
“Just like uploading an attachment to an email as you might know it. Or you can even proceed with easy drag and drop functions” as Windows Live Help puts it.
To note another advantage that you can benefit from with the same would be that of control over some of the features after having uploaded your files the same way. This can include, for example, permissions with which you can determine if your files will be available for everyone or only to a few specified contacts as Windows Live Help points out.
And finally to conclude, Windows Live Help explains that this program works only with Microsoft internet Explorer (most preferably IE 7.0 and 8.0).

I jusst recently changed phone service and mobile devices how can I access the pictures that were uploaded to skydive?
